About the Author: For many years Cling
Bowman has been associated with and working in Africa teaching, church
planting, and training US and national churches to reach Africa. Previous to this he worked with a volunteer
team helping to begin Hispanic churches in Georgia and an Anglo church in the
Fort Worth, Texas area. He currently serves with
his wife with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist
Convention. He is married to Harriet
Bowman and has 3 children and 6 grand children. Clint is a graduate of Valdosta
State College with a B.S. in Secondary Education and Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary with a Masters of Religious Education.
He has
lived in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.
Clint currently
serves on the Training Team for Sub- Saharan Africa with the IMB - conducting
training for field personnel, national partners, and US churches whose intent
is to adopt and do church planting among the unreached and unengaged people
groups of Sub Saharan Africa.
